The adjustment method of electric torque wrench mainly includes the setting of torque value and switch control.
Torque value setting:
For the Hampoo electric torque wrench TN-9B, the torque value needs to be adjusted first. The torque range of the TN-9B is 400-900 Nm. Set the torque value to 750 Nm. After the power is turned on, quickly adjust by adjusting clockwise and long, and release it for fine adjustment. When tightening the bolt, the commutator points to the R gear, and when the torque reaches the set torque value, the wrench automatically stops turning. When removing the bolt, the commutator rotates to L gear and the bolt can be easily removed by pressing the switch again.
The Hamp Angle Electric Torque Wrench TC-21G also offers two adjustment methods: slow adjustment and fast adjustment. Slow adjustment increases or decreases torque by turning a small flat-top screwdriver clockwise or counterclockwise. Quick adjustment requires pressing the confirm button, then releasing and holding again to reduce the torque. When the torque value is adjusted to 1,500, the bolt is tightened by placing the reaction arm against a bolt in a nearby position and tightening the bolt. When loosening the bolt, adjust the commutator to L gear.
Switch Control:
The switch of the electric torque wrench usually has the function of continuously variable speed, and if you press deeply, the speed will be fast and the torque will be large, and if you press it shallowly, the speed will be slow and the torque will be small. By controlling the depth of the on/off press, the torque can be adjusted to meet the needs of different applications.
When using an electric torque wrench, you should also pay attention to the following:
Make sure the power supply is properly connected and learn how to operate the wrench safely.
Adjust the torque value as needed to ensure that the bolt or nut can achieve the correct tightening force.
When using a force wrench or other force measuring instrument to measure the actual torque value of the bolt, if the deviation of the torque value is small, it can be compensated by fine adjustment; If the deviation is large, the coarse adjustment gear needs to be adjusted several times until the desired torque value is reached.
